Why do light skinned blacks have to be a shame for be light skin?

we can`t talk about sertine thing becuse we are lighter skinned there for we have no right to say or question anything that a darker skinned black person mite say about light skinned blacks.

but if your dark skin you can be proud of your dark skin and say words like the blacker the berry the sweeter the jucie.
Why do light skinned blacks have to be a shame for be light skin?
They are racists. I know most blacks think it is not possible. If this was the case it wouldn't be important who said the word "***-r" or "***-a". All that would matter is that it was said. Most young black men and some women believe that the color of the person saying it determines if it was right or wrong. If you find yourself in the same position, can't discuss anything because you are not "dark anough", then the people who are shunning you out are racist. Limiting what one can or cannot do based on the color of one's skin is racist.

B***CH please get over yourself.

it sounds to me you are trying to brag about being light skinned

woo hoo big deal.

And Stop Raping the english language!
Reply:never heard of this ...must be an American society stigma.Since race is something many Americans are obsessed with

by the way to heyy mulato does not refer to hawaians .The word is actually hapa ,which then people of hals asian ancestory decided to adapt for themselves instead
Reply:I don't think there is any reason to be ashamed for any color or hue of your skin. I personnally find light skinned blacks very attractive and I had no idea there was such an issue, it is probably a racist US thing, as a reaction to racism against blacks perhaps?
Reply:They shouldn't for the sins committed by others.
Reply:do u have to be sooooooooo conceited. and if u r writing patois write it don't mix it with te English ok
Reply:It's just people oppressing people. Don't buy into it. I could tell you stories for days about my own individual circumstance...
Reply:Huh? Say whut?

Maybe you're ashamed for your own personal reasons, but I haven't met a light skinned black yet that was anywhere near ashamed of their complexion, does Beyonce look ashamed? Is Mya ashamed?

I live in Baltimore County, we probably have some of the best looking light skinned black people in America, and I can assure you, nobody here is ashamed. There may be some haters, hating on them, but they are not ashamed...in no way shape or form.

Take a look at some of these beautiful people, and ask yourself if they're ashamed:

Reply:As a European here I have notices the obsession about race in the USA. Must be a huge Identify crisis going on over there
Reply:What nonsense. It does not matter what colour anybody's skin is - what matters are human values and personality.
Reply:most liteskinned blacks I meet HATE black ppl in general.... and this is in columbus ohio.....and seem to have the need to be a tribe of their own...I saydont HATE urself cos its nOT ur fault that mam n daddy wanted to lie down whutever...not ur fault whut ever.most moms i know said they just wanted to have a black baby cos they think they have CUTE noses...not thinking the consequences in the creation of their loins...
Reply:lighter skinned blacks are actually preferred to the darker ones, so they tend to receive preferential treatment from other people.
