Skin Care for Sensative/Dry Skin...?
I had a difficult time with this as well and I was shocked to learn all I needed was a warm wash cloth used with a gentle cleanser. Follow with a moisturizer with SPF suitable for your skin type, oily, dry or combination skin. Twice a week use a exfoliating cleanser to deep clean and renew skin cell turn over. The more you scrub the more damage you do to delicate skin, we have been lead to believe that the more we use the more we buy the better it works. All these products we buy and hope will work pales in comparison to a simple healthy skin routine.

using a facial scrub is the best way to get rid of dead skin cells, buy a moisturizers specially formulated for dry skin. I really like Laroche-Posay for my body and Cutibase for my face.
Reply:oatmeal lotion from walmart the cheap brand. It works great on dry skin.

CHUCK
Reply:I like Aveeno Daily Scrub (there's a less expensive version available at Target stores). Use it in the mornings and moisturize afterward (I like the generic version of Olay daily moisturizer, also at Target). Also, use a heavier night cream (again I use the generic version of this:) I like Olay Regenerist Night.
Reply:Use Vaseline. It's the cheapest way to moisturize.

If you want to get rid of the dead skin cells, then create a mask. It can be avacado based, cucumber + aloe vera.

there are also good ways to get rid of dry skin naturally. one is to eat a balanced diet, have plenty of exercise, drink lots of fluids and get enough rest and sleep. this will help the skin to become healthy, clearer and cleaner.

try to avoid bad habits of smoking and excessive alcohol drinking for they can cause skin dryness.

Reply:Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin. Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder.
