Foundation/Skin.?

My skin is seems to get better when I go out of country. Then when I come back to Jersey, then I get pimples again, dry skin, and discolored. Anyone know a reason why? =___=

Okay besids that, I have a hard time finding a foundation that's right for me. I have a hard time finding the skin color and its either to light or darker than I wanted. I'm asian/filipina and I don't really know a good brand that has skin colors for asians. Most of them are for black and white women. I prefer mineral make up or a liquid that won't clog my pores and maybe help clean my skin up.

If it helps here's a picture of me (April 15, 2007 - I was out of country, and yeah my skin looks okay here. England's awesome anyway.) I'm not wearing any make up besides the eyeliner and I wish I could get my skin to look like that again T_T;.

Most people aren't aware, but the European Union has banned over 1200 chemicals which are used in cosmetics of all types from lotions to mascaras and everything in between which may be why your skin gets better when out of the country.

Alarmingly enough (probably due to profits for a 35 billion dollar industry) the U.S. has only banned 9 toxic chemicals additionally the United States does NOT have any regulations regarding what goes into skincare products.

Look at your ingredients on any of your bodycare products the one labeled "fragrance" can contain as many as 4000 different chemicals...ugh!!!

If our skin absorbs everything we put on it and it is our largest organ, it only makes sense to be more aware of exactly what we put on it. Your breakouts could be from the collage of chemicals we unknowingly apply to our skin each day in the form of lotions, shampoos, conditioners, even nail polish...hope this helps :)

Dead sea mud stuff is really good for the skin, no chemicals just minerals.

For make up, I recommend shiseido powdery cover up. It's 1 step and you can get refills.
Reply:Hi! I really love using Bare Minerals. Yep, it's the makeup seen in many infomercials. I had a very hard time finding my true color until I ran into this stuff. I'm native american so I have a medium tanish complexion. You can mix the different shades to get the right color for your skin tone. Good luck!
Reply:first of your very pretty,i have the same skin tone as u and i have such a hard time finding the perfect shade and it does seems like all the shades are made for white people,i just bought some estee lauder makeup and i spend over $100 dollars and its wayyyy to light so now i have to take it back which sucks but anyways i would suggest that u try shiseido makeup because its made for asian skin tones or maybe clinique beacuse it good for acne prone skin.and as 4 mineral makeup dont get bare minerals its awful trust me its a waste of money

hope this helps
