What skin color will my future child have?

hi there me and my wife are expecting a baby very soon. I am British and i have white skin my dad had very white skin and my mom's skin is a bit dark (just a bit). my wife's mom is German (very white skin) and dad is Indian (dark skin) and my wife herself is kind of a mix as in just a bit dark (looks pretty white). so any help in giving me an idea of what skin color my future child will have would be very helpful! thank you in advance.
What skin color will my future child have?
There are almost infinite genes combinations. So you may expect any of the colors of skin you mentioned. However, dark genes have a certain tendency to prevail.
What skin color will my future child have?
well the right side of the baby will be white and the otherhalf will be dark
Reply:If you and your wife have white skin, your baby will have white skin, too. Color will not skip generations on humans like it does on hampsters. Silly.
Reply:Wait your baby will be there very soon.
Reply:my mother is african (british and african mixed) her mother is german and african(black) mixed. my father is damn near purple. I came out very light....as in i sunbrun and people don't just call me yello but HIGH yellow. My husband is african american he is pherell (fromthe neptunes) color skin. Our baby came out whiter then me. If a white couple stole him or adopted him no one would know he was african american. But osme peolpe say he will grow into his color. they said that about me but I didn't. if you want to see my son take a look at my myspace www.myspace.com/jackiectjackie. ther are pictures of me my husband and my son
Reply:Should be about halfway between you and your wife. ~
Reply:Black is very dominant, follow by white, follow by yellow. It is not based on the colour of the skin, rather the race. The colour gene will be passed down. You did not tell what race your Dad is or your mom. You only mention your wife's. Why are you so selfish ?
Reply:Our genes mix and match in amazing ways to produce unique human beings.

Dark skin tends to be dominant over lighter skin, but with the variety in your backgrounds, you and your wife may produce a child with either light or darker skin.

You will just have to wait and see! Each of your children may have slightly different coloring.

You cannot predict that any more than you can predict the shape of his/her nose, or how tall he/she will be.

Enjoy your baby, whatever shade he/she is, and congratulations!
Reply:Are you...really...worried about your child's skin colour? Really?
Reply:my mum is chinese (fair) and my dad is indian (dark skin) .I have three siblings. the first one born fairer than my mum, second and third one born bit darker (mexican skin colour).
Reply:Lavender!
