Sensitive skin and blemishes?

I am having the worst time with my skin for the past .. I'd say, month now.

I got sunburnt and after that everything went down hill.

My face has been a lot more oily, I don't recall a time in the past having oily skin.

Usually if I do breakout my skin clears up within two weeks.

This month I got my period twice, which could be a contributing factor but I am not so sure.

I finally found a facewash for sensitive skin and I have been using it morning and night (as it says) for the past week and a half.

Everytime an area of my face clears up, it seems that another area has a breakout.

I recently quit smoking, and had to stop drinking caffeine (soda especially). I've been drinking plenty of water probably 6 bottles a day and maybe one soda.

I am almost positive I am allergic to salyic acid so I can't use any of the topical acne medicines. I have sensitive skin.

What can I do to clear up my skin? and prevent future breakouts.

I am about to start Ortho Tricyclen
Sensitive skin and blemishes?
Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash is excellent for daily cleansing. It's for sensitive skin, it's soap-free, oil-free, hypoallergenic (won't cause allergies) and non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)

Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask works for me.

It can be used as a cleanser or a Mask. Since you have sensitive skin this product should be used 1x a week as a mask for 2-3 minutes. It contains Benzoyl Peroxide.

I've read that products with Benzoyl Peroxide are better for people who suffer from acne. Products containing Salicylic Acid can cause breakouts rather than clearing them up in cases pertaining to acne.

**Proactiv contains Benzoyl Peroxide**

**Ortho-Tricyclen or Ortho-Tricyclen Lo work wonders for the skin***

I have very sensitive skin also and use the soap-free Sebamed face and body wash. It is German made and is mainly found in derms offices. It is extremely mild. You can find it on sebamedusa.com also. I think this coupon code of per5 still works for 5% off on their U.S. website but not sure :) Report It

Reply:i don't know ..i m going through the same thing...stop smoking can give you stress...stress can give you break outs...anything different to your body will contribute to break outs....
Reply:WHAT PRODUCT IS THE SENSITIVE CREAM STUFF AND THE NAME OF IT?
Reply:no no no girls. you need BeautiControl.

First of all, all of the products your using may have chemicals.

You need natural products to eliminate and prevent from further beakouts. BeautiControl offers that. E mail me at : beauticontrol06.com, you won't regret it. I know I didn't
Reply:I went through some of the same problems you did, I began to use Noxzema for regular skin -my skin is sensitive to everything, but Noxzema for sensitive skin made my face break out - as does many sensitve skin products. Try something simple like that. I wash my fash in the morning and at night. Be certain to wash all make-up brushes, sponges, etc... once a week. They carry many germs that can cause breakouts. Good luck sweetie.
Reply:if your allergic to salicylic acid, then use a face wash with benzoyl peroxide in it (im allergic to that) i have the clearasil for sensitive skin too and it doesnt contain an acne medication, its just a normal face wash. so you should try to get a cleanser specifically for acne prone skin with benzoyl peroxide
Reply:use clean and clear or st ives facial wash/scrub or something else with benzoyl peroxide as the active ingredient
