My skin is pretty oily around my t zone but a few days ago i was trying on different foundations and powders and cleansing to remove each of them to try on a different one. Bt then my skin was starting to flake and peel so i stopped trying on foundations and put moisturizer over the dry spots that were flaky. Its been a few days and i haven't worn foundation or powder and my skin is still flaky in those spots and it feels leathery on my nose and forehead. I have put moisturizer on my skin twice a day and it is not getting better. i feel like my skin isn't even really producing oil . My pimples are disappearing and my skin looks good, but it is still bothering me that it is leathery and dry. Are there any really good moisturizers for dry skin? I was thinking about using a dove cream moisturizer. are there any really good cleansers for dry skin? Please help!!!!!
Skin went from oily to dry?
Try doing a facial scrub, that will help remove the dead skin. I like Oil of Olay Microderm abrasion set. Then put on a moisterizer. I love ROC Anti wrinkle Daily Moisturizer, it has important vitamin A (Retinol) %26amp; E. Its Hypoallergenic, oil free, and non comedogenic. For everyday I like to use Cetaphill to wash with first.

Honey for acne
A Natural Moisturizer
The skin鈥檚 ability to stay hydrated is an important factor in its ability to maintain softness, suppleness and elasticity. As skin ages, or as it is exposed to environmental stresses and chemical agents, it loses this ability to retain water, becomes dry and appears wrinkled. Honey is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains water. So honey is a natural fit for a variety of moisturizing products including cleansers, creams, shampoos and conditioners. Because honey is also an anti-irritant, it is suitable for sensitive skin and baby care products.
Moisture Mask
Mix 2 tablespoons honey with 2 teaspoons milk. Smooth over face and throat. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
Honey Mask Recipe
The best facial mask is honey. Place a cloth in warm water and apply to your face to open the pores. Smear on honey, and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores. Use once a week

A plain baking soda and water mask is by far the best you can do for acne prone skin. Mix a water and baking soda in a cup until the consistancy of a thinner paste. Pat on face (do not rub) and let sit till it hardens then rinse off. This has done miracles for my sensitive acne prone skin!! Plus it's all natural! Sometimes I add a few drops of tea tree oil too. Once or twice a week is plenty for this treatment.
Good luck I hope this helps
